Performance
Opportunities |
At the Cassandra School of Ballet, students have
many opportunities to perform throughout the year.
Performance Opportunities act as a training ground
to help students prepare for and pursue a professional
career in dance. It also teaches teamwork, commitment
and endurance.
The school presents an annual Spring Performance that showcases the talents of young students under the Artistic Direction of Cassandra Macino. The performance is open to students who have
been enrolled a minimum of 7 consecutive months
at the school. Additionally, a performance and a
costume fee is required in October to cover students’
costumes and added 9 weeks of rehearsals.
Students who voluntarily withdraw from the performance
rehearsals automatically forfeit their costumes
and there are NO REFUNDS. The average rehearsal
period, separate from regular classes, begins nine
weeks prior to the performance.
Company Dancers and Intermediate students also perform
for significant community events, including Music
Under the Stars Concerts, Young People’s Concerts
with the Toledo Symphony, various in-school performances
and senior care centers.
